CBD Beginners Guide

What is CBD? ( Cannabidiol)

Cannabidiol or CBD is a part of the cannabis plant with amazing therapeutic benefits. Many High Level Scientists, healthcare professionals, Medical marijuana patients, and Everyday people are using Pure CBD products to treat a large variety of  medical condition such as but not limited to chronic pain, cancer, Crohn’s, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, PTSD, cardiovascular disease, anxiety, antibiotic-resistant infections, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia, and many others.  Sizeable preclinical  scientific research and some clinical studies have shown that CBD has Vigourous anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, anti-depressant, anti-psychotic, anti-tumoral, and neuroprotective qualities.

Where Does CBD ( Cannabidiol ) Come From?

CBD or Cannabidiol is extracted  specific strains of cannabis, often known as hemp. CBD is the second most abundant compound in hemp.

However, here is where the confusion starts.

Unfortunately, the most abundant constituent of cannabis is the cannabinoid known as THC, an intoxicating and illegal substance (Federally) and causes its users to get “High”

While CBD is completely separated and isolated from THC and CBD cannot get you “high,” there is still a lot of stigma as many people tend to mistake CBD for THC.

However it is not possible to get “high” by smoking or ingesting CBD (that has only traces of THC), as it is also impossible to get high by consuming CBD oil products (that contain virtually no THC).

Is CBD Legal?

The legality of Cannabidio) from hemp is based on a 2004 unanimous ruling by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which determined that the DEA “cannot regulate naturally-occurring THC not contained within or derived from marijuana, i.e., non-psychoactive hemp is not included in Schedule I. The DEA has no authority to regulate drugs that are not scheduled.. As of now CBD Is Legal in all 50 states aslong as it is made from hemp and under .3% THC.

Our Isolates have absolutely no THC and our Tinctures, Capsules, Wax and Topicals contain less than 0.3%

What’s the best way to take CBD?

Most CBD patients prefer products where they dont need to inhale the CBD. CBD-rich cannabis oil products can be taken  orally (as edibles, lozenges, beverages, tinctures, and gel caps), or applied topically. Concentrated cannabis oil extracts can also be heated and inhaled with a vape pen. Inhalation is good for treating acute symptoms that require immediate attention; the effects can be felt within a minute or two and typically last for a couple of hours. The effects of orally administered CBD oil can last for four hours or more, but the onset of effects is much slower (30-90 minutes) than inhalation. When It Comes Down to it We Believe this is up to the user. Everyone is different. Some Like to inhale, others like to injest with food or use topically with lotions or salves.
